What products do you use?

The Spray Studio has a variety of products for every skin tone. Our most popular  products are St Tropez, Mediterranean and Minx tans.

Some products develop in 2hrs, others will take 4-8hrs.

When you come for your first tan we will discuss what you want from your tan and what colour will best suit you.

What should I do prior to coming for my tan?

To prep your skin for a perfect tan, hit the shower or bath with an exfoliant (avoid oil-based scrubs), a good exfoliating glove and some elbow grease. Make sure all shaving and waxing have been done- you don’t want to be taking off the top layer of your tan. Ideally, Shaving should be done 4hrs prior, and waxing 1day prior. Make sure your skin is completely dry. You should not wear any makeup, sunscreen or have any other oils on your skin. Avoid wearing deodorant.

After Tan care.. How long do I leave my tan before showering?

This depends on the product we decide is best for your skin. It can be anywhere from 1-8 hours. You will advised of this on the day of your tan. You will need to go easy around water the day you get sprayed- this includes everything from swimming and doing dishes to brushing your teeth. While you can still do these things, it is recommended that you use caution when you are near water to ensure your tan is perfect!

I’m really pale and don’t want to be too dark. Is there a colour to suit me?

The Spray Studio has the perfect colour for everyone! We have a diverse range of clients, so we need a diverse range of products. We will tailor our product, to your skin colour.

How long does it take?

The process itself will take 15mins.

Do you do man tans?

Yes! You boys don’t need to be scared- we do lots of man tans, but no nudes please.

Do you do bridal tans?

Of Course! We always recommend coming for a trail tan a couple of weeks before your wedding. This way we can ensure its absolutely perfect for your special day.

How long will my tan last?

Spray tans typically last between 7-10 days. It can last up till 2 weeks if you look after it. See tips to prolong your tan below.

What can I do to prolong the life of my tan?

To make sure your tan endures, you need to stay hydrated. Drinking lots of water and applying moisturiser daily.

You may want to consider a moisturiser with a tan extender to keep your colour rich and lasting longer than it otherwise would.

What do I wear to my appointment?

Loose fitting, dark clothes. If  it is raining on the day of your appointment cover up- wear loose trackpants and a hoodie and bring an umbrella. We don’t want a raindrop ruining your tan. Spray tan is easily washed out of clothing and towels- but always best to wear something old and dark in colour.
